MAM-A 8017 4.7GB DVD-R Unprinted Silver+Gold Alloy
MAM-A's Silver Plus Gold Alloy (SilverPlusGoldAlloy - SPGA) discs feature two reflective layers. One of pure silver, plus a second gold alloy reflective layer. The pure silver layer provides high reflectivity and great drive compatibility, and the gold alloy layer provides protection against environmental corrosion. This combination extends longevity of the DVD, compared to standard silver discs that may oxidize.
* UNPRINTED discs lack additional protective coatings found on most other MAM-A discs. Typically, replicators or others purchase thesein conjunction with in-house high speed silk screen printing. Without silkcsreening, users may find these discs to be prone to fingerprints and scratches.
