GREEN CD / DVD CASES

We would like to provide a case that is more environmentally friendly than the plastic ones we have been selling for years.  We have come out with three prototypes and would like to make one or all of these available to you. All three of these prototypes are made from 100% recycled material, are biodegradable and made in the USA.  The three cases are similar in size to the current plastic CD cases on the market today. 

GREEN CASE ONE

Our first prototype is a two fold design that holds 2 discs.  The spine will be about 7mm in thickness and the closed case will be slightly less than 5 inches wide and high.  This case will hold 2 discs that takes up less space than a standard size CD or DVD case.  See the video to the right to see it close up.

GREEN CASE TWO

The second prototype also holds 2 discs.  However, this one is a tri fold design.  This will give the case added durability.  The dimensions will be the same as the first prototype.  For the video please click to the right.

GREEN CASE THREE

The third prototype is a tri fold design like our second one.  However, this will hold three discs.  This case measures about 10mm in thickness (the same as a standard CD case) and is slightly more than 5 inches high and wide.  For more information click to the right.

Initially, pricing on all of these will be more than the plastic ones due to the fact that it will be in limited production and made in the USA.  Should this become a popular product we will have the ability to order in higher quantities and pass along the savings to you.   When you consider that these hold multiple discs, can also be utilized as mailers and are environmentally friendly they really are a good value.  We will also offer adhesive printable labels that will work well with these cases.  They will include spine labels so these green cases can be efficiently displayed on most case racks and shelves.
